Wagon R is another hatchback, again from Maruti, which is extremely popular on Indian roads. It is available in 6 colors, costing between 3.7-5.3 lakhs. It is available in petrol variant only. It is now available with automatic gear system as well, though the quality of the manufacture is such that the mileage of 20.51 km/l has not been affected. This car is fitted with a 1 liter KB10 petrol engine, with a displacement of 998 cc.
Hyundai Grand i10
The other car to make it to the list is the Grandi10, the price of which starts from 4.2 lakhs. Like all other Hyundai cars, the engine of the Grand i10 is also very finely made, and the car is easy to handle on Indian roads. It is available in diesel and petrol variants, and for its clean looks, comfort and mileage of 20 km/l, the i10 is definitely a car to reckon with.
